EOCO grills Ibrahim Mahama over alleged economic crime
Cute Ibrahim Mahama
Ibrahim Mahama is a brother of former President John Mahama
Ibrahim Mahama, the businessman brother of former President John Dramani Mahama, yesterday took his turn at the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) in Accra, as the anti-graft investigation agency probes him over an alleged economic crime.
His appearance at EOCO, a now dreaded state agency, has long been expected and so when he eventually turned up as a guest of the Office, what started as pieces of speculation soon gained momentum with proof that he was indeed answering questions pertaining to some of his business activities.
Ibrahim Mahama, a source close to the agency told DAILY GUIDE, was questioned about his suspected issuance of dud cheques as Customs duties for some heavy-duty equipment he had imported into the country through the Tema Port.
It is thought that it was a whistleblower, who opened the lid over the can of worms now being investigated.
The Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has by the development lost a whopping amount of money, should the charge against the businessman be proven beyond doubt.
Ibrahim Mahama, the man behind a large business empire in the country, has been the subject of discussions and gossips by both political observers and others – some of who think he benefitted unduly from contracts because of his brother’s exalted position as the President of Ghana – an allegation he has often deflected as untrue.
He has often said that being a Ghanaian, he too is entitled to local businesses.
He is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Engineers and Planners, a company many think has a hand in many engineering and construction projects across the country.
The Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Agyapong, has been on Ibrahim’s neck for a period spanning the time the NDC was in power to now when it has been confined to the status of the largest opposition party in the country.
He had asked Ghanaians to consider how Ibrahim Mahama had been ripping the country of whopping amounts of money through fraudulent transactions, particularly under-declaration.
The MP has accused him of engaging in contracts which are largely not inuring to the economic interests of the country – charges he has often put forth with outstanding gusto in the media.

Kofi Adams sues NDC boys for calling him thief
Kofi Adams
National Organiser of the NDC, Kofi Adams
The National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, has hauled Network Broadcasting Limited, operators of Accra-based Radio Gold, before an Accra High Court for defamation.
The plaintiff, a former Aide of ex-President Jerry John Rawlings, aside Radio Gold, has also sued four members of his party for what he describes as their defamatory comments against him over the party’s 2016 electoral defeat by calling him a thief.
The four are Kodzo Keglo Hamenya, Okaikoi North Constituency Secretary of the NDC; Emmanuel Ashaley Tetteh, Communications Officer, Klottey Korle Constituency; Stephen Afutu Neequaye, Communications Officer, Okaikoi Central Constituency and James Deku, aka Agbee.
According to Mr. Adams, who was the campaign coordinator for former President John Mahama’s re-election in the run-up to Election 2016, the four defamed him when they appeared on the Latebiokorshie-located radio station saying, “We have never seen such a useless national organizer/campaign coordinator…[and that all] Kofi Adams knows is to steal money and cars and disrespect everybody.”
Sampson Lardi Ayenini, lawyer for Mr. Adams, in a statement of claim among other things, opined that the defendants and their said defamatory statements meant and were natural and ordinarily understood by right-thinking members of society to mean that the plaintiff is useless and a criminal who has no regard for everyone.
As a result, Mr. Adams is demanding compensatory damages to the tune of GH¢600,000 each for injury to his character and integrity.

Stop Shatta Wale from performing profane songs on campus – Student pleads with authorities
A final year student of the University of Ghana, Legon, Maxwell Amofia is asking authorities of the school to prevent Ghanaian musicians from performing profane songs whenever they are on campus to entertain their fans.
The Radio Univers presenter who is not enthused about some songs dancehall artiste Shatta Wale sang over the weekend when he stormed Bani Hall artiste night asked heads of the institution to check songs musicians plan to perform when they are billed for shows at Legon. In a mail Mr. Amofia sent to Zionfelix.net, he stated that these checks would help contribute to the good morals the school wants to give the students.
Below is what Maxwell Amofia, a final year student of the University of Ghana sent to Zionfelix.net concerning Shatta Wale’s performance on Legon campus, April 1.
"For every well-organised musical show, the managers largely determine the number of songs an artiste will perform and sometimes the specific songs that should be performed. This is obviously done in line with the purpose and aim of organising the event or show.
If organisers or sponsors are supposed to check the songs these artistes perform even at outdoor events and clubs, wouldn’t it be prudent to do same when these artistes are billed to perform in educational institutions like the University of Ghana?
When an artiste has extremely profane songs which are popular or hits, a corporate institution that organises a show should be able to point out to the artiste that profane songs are not suitable for certain environments especially an educational institution.
The story was quite different when Busy Internet partnered United Nations Hall (Bani) for their 2017 Artiste Night on the campus of the University of Ghana. Billed for the night were Shatta Wale, Keche, T-Phlow, King Promise among other artistes.
Shatta Wale mounted the stage around 9:30pm and performed for an hour. Aside his Radio friendly songs, the SM Boss also performed a number of lyrically explicit songs not befitting for a campus show that doesn’t only intend to entertain but also educate.
He performed tunes like ‘Wo Mame Tw3’, and ‘Onyeaye Sorr’. Both songs speak about commonly known Ghanaian insults referring to the vagina of one’s Mother. This is a clear disrespect to womanhood and motherhood.
Shatta Wale performed at the Glo Caf Awards last year but was instructed to perform only one song titled ‘Reality’, which has no trace of profanity. In an interview, he admitted that there was no way he could have objected. So why did organisers of this show allow for such a disturbing incident to occur?
If the Dean of Students checks on the time show on campus end and the nature of these shows, shouldn’t he also check on some of these acts of immorality? Should a school that seeks to teach good morals host shows that will make derogatory remarks about the female reproductive organ?
Just a month ago, female dancehall artiste Ebony mounted a stage on the same campus and she was seen touching and playing with her private organ throughout the show. As if we hadn’t had enough, she ordered for a bed to be brought on stage. The next thing we realised was that she had pounced on a boy on the bed and was displaying what should have been limited to the bedroom.
Why has the Dean of Students of the University of Ghana been silent on such issues? Perhaps, it hasn’t gotten to his attention yet.
I love to see Shatta Wale perform everyday but his management team together with organisers of events should scrutinise his selected songs even before the day of the show. There should be some sanctity on our campuses".

Ladies only: Tips for havingMan Penis Black
Here are tips on enjoying sex with a well-endowed guy without injuring your bits.
1. Always use a lubricant
Adding extra lubrication is the single most effective thing you can do to make sex more comfortable. If you’re too embarrassed to have the tube by the bed, go to the toilet before you have sex and insert some deep into your vagina. Warmth and your natural lubrication will spread it to all the right places.
2. Don’t penetrate until you’re ready
Have intercourse just before you’re about to have an orgasm from oral sex or manual masturbation, so your vagina is as prepared as possible.
3. Don’t attempt intercourse until you’re *really* turned on
Explain to your partner that you need lots of foreplay for your vagina to lubricate and expand. If he still doesn’t spend time stroking, arousing and exciting you before penetration, find a new partner!
4. Open your legs wide
Whereas sex with a small penis requires you to go for positions that ‘close’ the vagina, you need to do the opposite. Choose positions that allow you to spread your legs wide. Make it easier for him to penetrate by spreading your thighs open and bending your knees so you’re as open as possible.
5. Take it slow
Instead of penetrating in one, quick movement, ask him to slow it down and insert his penis in stages, a little at a time. You tell him when you’re ready to accept deeper penetration. A sensitive lover will let you call the shots. If you trust him to wait until you’re ready, you’ll relax, and so will your vaginal muscles.
6. Get experimental
Get him to try penetrating from different angles to see which feels most comfortable. If he’s really big, you might not want full penetration, so make sure he keeps thrusting shallow and gentle.
7. Use your muscles
Push down with your vaginal muscles while he’s penetrating. As he penetrates, bear down slightly (like you’re trying to push something out of your vagina). You’ll feel more in control and it loosens the vaginal muscles.
8. Don’t panic!
Comfort yourself with logic: your vaginal muscles are elastic enough to take even the biggest penis – after all, you deliver a baby from the same place!

Wa students who beat up Principal and Bursar over food sent home
Wa Students
They reportedly tied up the bursar and beat him up before attacking the principal
All the second year students of a vocational school in Upper West region capital Wa who ganged up to beat up the school's principal and bursar have been sent home.
With the support of the first year students, the second year students of Issa Youth Leadership Training Institute started a demonstration on Friday over the poor quality of their food.
They reportedly tied up the bursar and beat him up before attacking the principal of the school later.
Sources close to the school indicate that before the assault on the principal and bursar, there had been swelling anger among the students over the quality of food served them at the dining hall.
After the attack, most of the students fled the school, while the bursar, Bismark Amponsah, had to be rushed to a nearby clinic and later transferred to the Wa Regional Hospital.
There were calls for the school to be shut down, however, the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District Security Council decided that it would be best to send the students home.
“We met yesterday...we said that they should all go home and come back with their parents or their guardians,” explains Wa Divisional Commander, Chief Superintendent Stephen Ngissah. He said the first year students were however asked to remain on the school premises after they appealed that they would not be able to pay for their transportation back home

The Volta Regional Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is putting the blame of the party’s defeat in the 2016 general elections at the doorsteps of appointees and executives who were entrusted to assist former President John Mahama to govern the nation.
To him, after carefully analyzing that factors that contributed to the party’s defeat, he has come to terms that the conduct of party executives and appointees led to the down of the former Ghanaian leader and the party in general.
He told local radio station in Accra, Okay FM, in an interview, Saturday, that greed on the part of party officials and appointees contributed heavily to the defeat the party suffered in the hands of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“I am stating emphatically that President Mahama was a victim of greed by appointees; he was a victim of greed by party executives; he was a victim of not having been told the truth of what was happening on the ground,” he noted.
Bandi who so emotional discussing the party’s defeat on air despite calls by the Prof. Kwesi Botchway Committee to channel all their grievances to that committee further told the FM station that he is confident that Mr. Mahama when given another opportunity to lead the country will not repeat the mistakes he did with his appointments.
“If he [President Mahama] is given another opportunity, he will correct himself. All the appointments that he made, he will not repeat them. All the DCEs that he appointed, he will not do same. If you are a DCE and you are not in touch with your people, he will not appoint you. This will solve the problem.”
In his view, the NDC lost the 2016 elections legitimately to the NPP because of the conduct of party functionaries

In December last year, his tweet about the hazy harmattan weather that had engulfed Ghana and resulted in the temporal grounding of domestic and international flights, was regarded as an attempt at making fun of the then President Mahama’s commissioning of projects across the country ahead of the elections, which was mocked by some Ghanaians.
He later indicated he has huge admiration and respect for Mr. Mahama and that the impression created was incorrect.
Well, if you have any reservation about his V8 statement, perhaps this tweet will be of help.

Ghanaians fume as Otiko tells girls not to attract rapists with short skirts

Minister for Gender and Social Protection, Otiko Afisa Djaba
The Minister for Gender and Social Protection, Otiko Afisa Djaba, over the weekend urged girls not to “attract” rape by wearing provocative clothing to the outrage of some Ghanaians.
During her opening address as the Co-Chairperson at the 90th anniversary and Speech and prize giving day for Krobo Girls Presbyterian Senior School, Madam Djaba intimated that girls’ wearing short dresses could attract a rapist.
“In conclusion, I want to say to you, be bold, be confident, be respectful. If you wear a short dress, it’s fashionable but, know that it can attract somebody who would want to rape or defile you. You must be responsible for the choices you make,” she said.
Madam Djaba also had some words for teachers who sexually assaulted girls saying “…it is an abuse of their rights and you are their role model you must not be the one to abuse the rights of the young girls,” she stated.
But her correlation between rape and girls’ dressing rubbed some Ghanaians the wrong way with many taking to social media to express their displeasure with the Gender Minister with a number of them questioning her logic and others accusing her of victim blaming and shaming.
Some have called on the president to remove her from her position as her comments suggest women are responsible for preventing rape, which they consider a crime borne out of violence and power.
This is would not the first time the minister has provoked the ire of the public. Recently, her delay in condemning the violent sexual attack on a woman suspected in Kumasi also angered many.

Akufo-Addo contacts Prophet Tawiah over death prophecy

Prophet Kwabena Tawiah, founder and leader of Church of Rabbi
In a desperate attempt to ensure he successfully complete his term of office, President Akufo-Addo has sent emissaries to Prophet Kwabena Tawiah to help avert any clandestine moves to eliminate him.
Founder and leader of Church of Rabbi predicted last two weeks that Akufo-Addo’s reign as president would end abruptly, as some elements within his party have hatched a plot to terminate his life.
According to him, the plot to kill the president is because some members of the NPP were strongly against his candidature, and have decided not to recognize him as president after the elections.
Prophet Kwabena Tawiah speaking exclusively to asempanews.com Saturday confirmed that the presidency has made contact with him regarding the prophecy, which he added, shocked the first family to the marrow.
“He [President Akufo-Addo] has taken steps to avert the death. He couldn’t come to me personally, but he has sent people to me so, yes, we are frantically working on that. And I will make sure the president’s life is not terminated by some selfish individuals in his party,” Prophet Kwabena Tawiah revealed.
Boasting of his spiritual competence, Prophet Tawiah stressed that it was his intercession prayers that ensured the NPP’s landslide victory in 2016, thus would protect President Akufo-Addo from all forms of mystical attacks.
“I will crush those who have decided to work against the president and eventually kill him. Those harboring that sinister intention must pipe-down because it would never happen. I will protect President Akufo-Addo day and night,” Prophet Tawiah warned.

Bro. Sammy is a fraud gospel musician' - Kwame Agyemang Berko

Kwame Agyemang Berko
Ghanaian poet and critic, Kwame Agyemang Berko has descended very hard on gospel musician Bro. Sammy following his comment that he sees nothing wrong with gospel ministers paying bribe to win awards.
Agyemang Berko on Hitz FM commenting on the musician’s assertion described the minister of the gospel as a fraud musician.
To him, Bro. Sammy hides behind the Bible to take money away from believers, an act he thinks is wrong and should not be condoned.
“There are many people who have decided to use the Bible to fraud people because they have the gift and they can speak for people to believe them. Once you have that talent, you can choose to be a fraudster at Ablekuma or anywhere else or you can sensibly take that same Bible and go to church.” he went blunt.
The poet who was not pleased with Sammy’s comment added that he never knew of the gospel musician but he decided to research about him months ago when he became the talk of the town. He stated without fear that Bro.
Sammy is a fraudster if he is the person he inquired about.
“I’ve never met Sammy and also not heard his music but I just saw his photo because I wanted to know who this person is. If it is the guy I saw with plaster on him like job and he turnout to be a fraud…” Kwame Agyemang Berko said.
Zionfelix.net reported days ago that Bro. Sammy believes that gospel musicians paying bribe to win awards is not a sin. This statement he made has generated insults for the musician who recently released his new album “Nyame Ne Hene”

The President of Regent University College of Science And Technology, Professor N.N.N Nsowah Nuamah says tertiary students must see research as important medium to enhance their knowledge.
According to him, most students lack exposure to modern ideas because the zeal among students to seek for ideas has dwindled. “I entreat the Ministry Of Education and Ghana Education Service to join hands with us in providing a similar platform for basic and secondary schools.
The proposed provision of libraries in some part of the country by the government will be very much enhanced if it is supported with a localised e-library and e-teaching platform. Let us all help to shape teaching and learning in Ghana through technology,” he said.

African football will not move forward with referees like Joseph Lamptey - Hossam Mido
Joseph Lamptey Zamalek
Joseph Lamptey and Hossam Mido
Former Zamalek boss Ahmed Hossam ‘Mido’ hits out at Ghanaian official Joseph Lamptey following FIFA ban.
Following suspicious officiating during South Africa’s World Cup qualifier against Senegal last year, FIFA have decided to slap Lamptey with a life-long ban from football.
The incident was not the first for Lamptey to cast doubts over his officiating as he became famous in Egypt in 2010 when allowed a goal for Esperance against Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League semis, which was clearly scored by Enramo and subsequently knocked-out Al Ahly from the tournament.
Lamptey was again accused of match manipulation when TP Mazembe hosted Zamalek in the 2014 Champions League group stages, where the White Knights lost 1-0.
Following the match, Zamalek players tried to attack Lamptey but then-manager Mido and his staff had to interfere to deny their players.
“I always refuse to blame referees for defeats but the referee’s performance was clear after the match, Mido tells KingFut.
“African football will not move forward with referees like that,” said Mido about Lamptey who was handed a three-month ban last year by CAF, which ruled him out of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
“Egyptian official Yasser Abdel-Raouf accused TP Mazembe of bribery in 2009 and we’re witnessing a repeat of that now.”
Following FIFA’s ban on Lamptey, unofficial reports claimed that the referee came under the spot after irregular betting patterns were picked up in South Africa around the time of the Bafana Bafana’s match against Senegal.
Lamptey will not be able to secure a job related to football in the future whether administrative or any other post.

Lifestyle: 5 Easy ways to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy
Stretch Marks
When a woman is pregnant, a lot of changes happen to her body. One of such changes is the appearance of stretch marks. For some women, it is only when they are pregnant these marks appear while for others they don’t have to be pregnant.
Although stretch marks are very easy to get, they are not difficult to get rid of. The only thing women fear is the stigma, especially from men. Some men say that they dislike stretch marks.
Whatever the case may be, Jumia Travel, the leading online travel agency, shares 5 ways to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy.
Keep your body hydrated
Your body needs to be hydrated for maximum skin elasticity. Skin elasticity is the skin’s ability to stretch and then go back to normal. So, drinking between 8 and 12 cups of water daily can help skin elasticity and thus prevent these stretch marks. Generally, it is not good for pregnant women to be dehydrated.
Use moisturizers and creams
Creams and moisturizers can be used to keep the skin moist and damp. It is advisable to use creams that contain Vitamin E or Vitamin A. This types of cream cannot cause any damage to the skin and can also prevent these marks. You should use it preferably after having your bath. Important, avoid using harsh chemicals on your skin.

I never said visitors have sex at Kintampo water falls - Chief
Kintampo Accident3
A tree fell on revelers on Sunday
In a quest to detect the exact cause of what happened at the Kintampo Waterfalls, most people have created their own version of what could have been the reason behind the tragic events that occured last Sunday.
The Kyeremanko Hene of Kintampo, Nana Effa Guakro has denied ever saying that some revelers who visit the Kintampo Waterfalls engage in sexual activities which might have caused the tragedy that occurred at the site.
In a report by Daily Guide newspaper, the Chief was reported to have told journalists that the waterfalls is protected by deities that abhors immoral acts but some visitors who visit the site engage in sexual activities which compelled him to issue several warnings to visitors to desist from such acts because it could have serious repercussions but they paid no heed to his warnings.
Reacting to the claims on hot93.9fm's morning show Maakye hosted by Akwasi Boateng, Nana Effa Guakro stated categorically that he never mentioned anywhere that some people engage in sexual activities when they visit the Kintampo Waterfalls.
"I have never stated anywhere that visitors who come to the waterfalls have sexual intercourse and I have not received any reports about people committing immoral acts at the site and as such I would never say what I have not seen or heard."
He said "there are no deities protecting the waterfalls as people are saying and I don't see any reason why anyone will have sex there so I suggest daily guide should find out who really said that because I never made that statement."

Students had sex at Kintampo Waterfalls; gods are angry - Chief
Kintampo Falls Death
The tragic Kintampo disaster has claimed several lives and left many injured.
It has emerged that some persons usually students who visit the Kintampo Waterfalls in the Brong Ahafo Region on excursion, allegedly had sex on the site, an act which is an abomination against the river god.
According to Nana Effa Guakro, Kyeremanko Hene of Kintampo, he has publicly warned on several occasions the repercussions that this detestable act could bring as the gods are angered by the practice and frown upon it.
The Chief’s comments come in the wake of the unfortunate incident where 18 persons died after hilltop trees crashed on them following heavy rains on Sunday at the Kintampo Waterfalls.
The victims were mostly students from the Wenchi Methodist Senior High School who had gone to the venue on excursion and were swimming at the time of the disaster. About 22 others who sustained injuries are receiving treatment at the Kintampo Government Hospital.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii sen show Monday, Nana Effa Guakro, Kyeremanko Hene stated that because the youth are too young to understand things of the spiritual realm, they refuse to pay heed to the warnings given them.
“If we tell them to stop doing certain bad things at the waterfalls site, they don’t listen and decide to do what they want. I’ve caused to be made several announcements on radio speaking against such bad behaviours, if they treat the river with respect, the river (god) will also serve them well.”
He disclosed that the chiefs and elders will consult the gods to investigate what might be the cause of the unfortunate incident that has thrown the entire area into a state of shock and mourning

Nana Addo thanks Owusu Bempah for his ‘spiritual help’
Nana Bempah
President Akufo-Addo
President Akufo Addo has expressed gratitude to the founder and General overseer of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah, for the ‘spiritual’ role he played in ensuring the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) victory in the 2016 December polls.
Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah was one of the Christian leaders who prophesied that then candidate Nana-Addo was going to emerge victorious in the keenly contested elections.
Speaking at the Head quarters of the Glorious Word Power Ministries at Odorkor, President Akufo Addo said he contested the 2016 elections against powers and principalities, but was quick to add that Prophet Owusu Bempah’s spiritual intervention ensured his victory.
“I am to happy to be here. I should have been here earlier, but God ordained it for me to come at this time. You should know it was God who made me come here at this time as the President of Ghana… It is important that we fervently pray for the change we are desiring.
I know one of the religious leaders who will champion this cause of change is Rev Owusu Bempah.”
I fought against powers and principalities
President Akufo-Addo stated that, he fought against powers and principalities to emerge victorious in the 2016 elections.
According to him, in spite of the enormous spiritual battles against his bid, he always knew that the battle was the Lord’s. ” We went to the polls about three months ago.We fought against powers and principalities, but in all of this, I had the firm belief that the battle was the Lord’s.”
He visited the church to thank the prophet and urge him to continue praying for him and his Ministers to succeed.
Owusu Bempah’s role
Nana Addo lost the 2008 elections to the late John Evans Atta Mills, and also lost in 2012 to President John Dramani Mahama.
However after this development, the Prophet told host of TV show- Restoration, Stacy Amoateng in 2015, that Ghanaians will give Nana Addo an opportunity to lead the country for the first time, though there might be some challenges.
Great relationships are not magical, they are worked at – Counselor Ogochukwu
Most people want to meet and settle down with the “right” person, but the majority of romantic partnerships end in dissolution.
The causes of relationship breakups may include the incompatibility of the parties involved, and their readiness and ability to work things out. Various marriages which had great potentials didn’t last for year, especially celebrity marriages.
The prevalent rate of relationship breakups in recent years is alarming and gradually becoming a thing of great concern to both counselors and the society at large.
Relationship expert, counselor Nweke spoke to the matter in an interview with Ghanaweb, he said “there’s no such thing as a perfect relationship, what we have are people who have made up their mind to make the necessary sacrifice to sustain their relationship
According to him, one has to know oneself very well and what he looks out for in a relationship before entering into any kind of commitment, “every relationship is capable of working if the parties involved are willing to make the sacrifice to sustain it”.
Counselor Nweke added, “you know you have found your missing rib, when you are prepared to make the sacrifice to sustain your relationship”.
He maintained that love is worth the battle you fight for but only if the fight is for the right person.

Poem: Avoiding Hell?
Have you sealed your fate
with the rejection of Him?
Accept Christ now
before your life wears thin.
For in permanent separation
there’s no God or peace –
Only continual torment and anguish
without any comfort or release.
Alone in the dark
as fallen angels without light,
you too will become a demon creature
lacking hope of spiritual sight.
Forget about Purgatory,
but make a decision today –
avoiding Hell can be done,
for Christ is the Life, Truth and Way.
Have you sealed your fate

Accept Christ now

Don't Discuss Your Woman With Your Ex
Submitted by Counselor Adofoli on 1 December 2016 - 7:12am
Women are like a driver’s mate in a car who see their men as the main drivers. She might not be as good, experienced and skillful as her boss, the driver; she is safe and secure with him trusting that, anytime she loses control or goes wrong, the driver her boss, will take in charge fully.
Security means so much to women, and they want to be with a man they feel safe and secure, a man who is mature enough to handle them even when they are acting like kids. A lot of women want to marry someone who is taller than them; some want thick tall spouses, elegant in structure etc. because the physique conveys a message of security to them.
To a woman maturity means security, that’s why a lot of women find it hard to date someone they are older than. Even if you are her junior in school, but prove to be more matured than her class mate, she will opt for the junior. Women are secure with the one who is mature.
So the fact that she is in love with a man and can tell him everything, means when things goes wrong in their relationship, or one hurts the other or they face conflict, etc. she expects her man to be mature about stuffs like this. He should know when to ignore some of her empty threats, calm her down, give her space but never withdraw his attention. Women find it hard to leave men who are able to do this.
Ladies like competition and because of that, it’s easy for them to compare themselves to friends and feel bad. Many ladies have friends with whom they don't discuss details of their relationships or personal life.
There is another category of men who act like the ladies themselves; they insult, quarrel and nag more than the ladies do. They tend to talk too much to the extent of discussing their lady with her friends and other ladies.
Nothing hurts a lady as much as finding out that her man is discussing their personal issues with no other person than his ex. She feels disrespect and makes her overthink.
She becomes insecure, gets jealous and thinks his ex makes him happier. She starts comparing herself to his ex. "Is she prettier than I am, is she smarter than me, is she more fun and exciting to be with?". If she was that good, then why did she become an ex? or are they still in love but just pretending?
They sometimes think to the point that, they no longer have reasons to stay. So despite your many apologies, they feel you are better off with your ex.
She finds it easy to forgive you but hard to accept you or be with you because, you have given her evidence that there is a devil in your life who is better than the angel she is.
In conclusion "A wise man is cautious and avoids danger; a fool plunges ahead with great confidence" - Proverbs 14:16 (TLB)

Top seven juju scandals that rocked Hearts-Kotoko clashes
Hearts Juju
Hearts of Oak official sweeping the field before a league match against rivals Asante Kotoko
Although some may disagree that superstition has no role to play in football, ardent followers and players of Ghana Premier League clubs Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko know it takes more than just playing to win.
Sometimes the rule of form guide is defied because football is not just the physical play.
Here is a recount of some of the Hearts of Oak versus Asante Kotoko matches that were dominated by juju and superstition.
1984 - Sunday, 23rd December 1984
Asante Kotoko suffered a 0-2 defeat at the hands of Hearts of Oak in Accra in 1984. The Porcupine Warriors went down 0-2 in the first half through goals from Ofei Ansah in the 3rd minute and George Lamptey doubled the scoreline in the 5th minute.
Asante Kotoko returned from the dressing, having changed from their red jersey into white for the second half.
According to the reports, a juju man told them to change their jersey because the white jersey was going to turn things around for them. However, it was a mission impossible as they failed to stage a comeback in the second half.
1989 - 31st December 1989 (League game Cum 31st Revolution Cup Match)
Hearts of Oak 2-2 Asante Kotoko (6-7penalties)
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) introduced penalty shoot to decide a winner whenever a game ended in a draw in the 1989-1990 season.
Hearts of Oak were held to a two-all draw at the Accra Sports Stadium by Asante Kotoko with the Porcupine Warriors subsequently winning 6-7 in the penalty shootout to break the tie.
Sarfo Gyamfi nicknamed the Black President, a key member of the Asante Kotoko team was told by a juju man that two different balls will be used for the game- a 'blue and black' ball and a 'white and blue Adidas' ball.
According to the juju man, the black and white ball will favour Asante Kotoko, whereas the blue and white ball will be to the advantage of the Phobians.
Sarfo Gyamfi and Mohammed Odoom who kept the post for Kotoko strategised that whenever a blue and white ball was introduced they needed to deflate it with a needle they hid it in their gloves. Kotoko got their two goals through the black and white ball and conceded the two goals from the blue and white ball.
Odoom deflated the blue and white balls whenever it was in play. The ball that was used for the penalty shootout was black and white Adidas ball and Asante Kotoko won 7-6 to take two points and the trophy at stake, while Hearts of Oak got a point for drawing in regulation time.
Also, because it was an anniversary game as well the head of state, Flt Lt Jerry John Rawlings led the delegation to inspect both teams before kickoff.
Sarfo Gyamfi, however, snubbed a handshake from Rawlings because the juju man had told him Kotoko would lose should all the players exchange a handshake with the head of state.
The 'Black President' was suspended for some games for snubbing Flt Lt Jerry John Rawling, but it was later rescinded.
1998 - Hearts 1-1 Kotoko (7-6 penalties)
This game was a June 4 Cup match. Both sides had been hinted by spiritualists after they went for consultations that the results won't go in their favour if they start with eleven men on the field.
They both started the game with ten men, before Lawrence Amankwa and Jacob Nettey came on for Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak, respectively. The match ended 1-1 and Hearts of Oak won 7-6 in the penalty shootout to break the tie.
2003 - 31st August 2003
Hearts 1-1 Kotoko
Asante Kotoko, afraid of being hypnotized under a presumed Hearts of Oak spell came to the stadium in bits and pieces.
When they finally assembled in the dressing room, they used the tartan tracks briefly for the warm-up and only went onto the pitch after their opponents had done so.
The game itself was also full of drama, as Hearts of Oak scored the opener through Bernard Dong Bortey with Yusif Alhassan Chibsah firing the equalizer which created much controversy.
Chibsah shot the ball in after goalkeeper Eben Dida who was brought down was cruelly forced to spill the ball in the six-yard box.
The decision angered the home fans who resulted to hurling bagged water and other missiles at the match official and players.
2005 - Asante Kotoko 1-1 Hearts of Oak
The final of the 2004 CAF Confederation Cup which was played in February 2005 is believed to have had some superstitious acts.
Accra Hearts of Oak who won on penalties after the game ended in a 1-1 draw claimed they used the hair of the Asante Kotoko coach Hans Dietar Scmidt to perform some rituals.
It was amazing on the day that Charles Taylor, who was the most exciting player of the Porcupine Warriors was taken out by the German at a time they were leading 1-0 against Hearts of Oak.
Some group of Hearts of Oak fans came out that they masterminded their side's victory by collecting Dietar Scmidt hair from the saloon he usually has his hair done and that influenced his decision to substitute Charles Taylor.
2005 - Hearts 1-1 Kotoko
Events from the start of the match set up the tone for an uncompromising game as both teams decided not to come into the stadium in their respective team buses but rather preferred to walk into the stadium.
More was to come when after the usual warm up, both sides appeared in the tunnel dressed in all-white jerseys resulting in a lot of deliberations between officials of the teams.
Kick-off was held up for more than one hour 10 minutes.
After sanity prevailed, Hearts players went to the field of play in a strip of green jerseys.
Another drama occurred that delayed the match further as Kotoko had to change their white socks to yellow as it clashed with the colours of Hearts of Oak.
All these happenings took place because both sides had consulted some juju men concerning their fate and they were advised to go through those exercises if they wanted to avoid a defeat.
2012 - Kotoko 2-1 Hearts
Dr. K.K Sarpong who was unknown in the football cycles until he took over the Asante Kotoko job as the Executive Chairman of the club in 2011 was advised to seek spiritual backing from a juju man if he wanted to be famous among the Kotoko fraternity.
He was introduced to a spiritualist at Nkoranza in the Brong Ahafo Region and in Kotoko's home game against Hearts of Oak, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) had to harbour a female fetish priest in his house to chant to ensure Kotoko won the game.
Asante Kotoko scored first before Mahatma Otoo drew Hearts of Oak level. K.K Sarpong who was troubled with the outcome was forced to place a call to the fetish priest.
The priest told the Executive Chairman of the club that he shouldn't worry because Kotoko was going to carry the day.
Michael Akuffo's stunner from long range in added time won the Kumasi giants all the three points
Samira taking First Lady’s shine - Report
Samira Rebecca3
Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo, First Lady with Samira Bawumia, 2nd Lady of Ghana
Wife of the Vice-President, Samira Bawumia, is gradually taking the center stage and shine from the First Lady, Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo, some political watchers have observed.
The sexy, young and pretty Samira, who seems to have comfortably warmed her way into the position of Second Lady already, programme after every programme, becomes the talk of the day with beautiful designer outfits.
Mrs. Akufo-Addo, alias “Auntie Becky” who clocked 66 last Sunday, equally pretty, on the other hand, is unable to beat the strong competition from Samira, who once contested a beauty pageant.
Samira, who is in her 30s and has 4 children, rose to the occasion in January, when she graced the inauguration of Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia her husband, as President and Vice-President, respectively.
The second family, who arrived at the Black Star Square ahead of the First Family, got everyone talking and stealing a glance, especially Mrs. Bawumia’s fashion sense -wearing an African print gown well sown to fit her curvy figure.
She nonetheless subsequently took over social media and trended for many days, while President Akufo-Addo, battled with the negative fallout from the plagiarism issue.
The daughter of former Chairman of the Peoples National Convention’s (PNC), Ahmed Ramadan, who has her older siblings belonging to different political parties, had her dress artistically designed with beads combined with a yellow scarf matching her headgear, got the people who were at the ceremonial grounds, as well as those home watching on the television, stunned.
Her makeup and the way she walked gorgeously, made her stand out the entire occasion. She had a modern Muslim touch to her dressing, which eschewed fanaticism; she had abandoned her veil meant for Muslim women, especially married ones.
As Social media was awash with her pictures and pleasant comments from the political divide, same could not be said about Auntie Becky, whose seamstress was accused of not making her rise to the unique occasion of her beloved husband’s swearing-in as the fifth president of Ghana under the Fourth Republic.
Mrs. Akufo-Addo’s Kente outfit, high-heeled shoe made her looked tomboyish and military woman, despite the assortment of jewelry to appear girlish.
Later that evening – Saturday January 7, at a state dinner hosted by President Akufu-Addo for heads of states and other dignitaries inside the Flagstaff House, Mrs. Bawumia, did not fail in her dressing, while Auntie Becky appeared to be lost in the crowd.
Again, during the burial of the late Asantehemaa, Samira, did not disappoint when she joined her husband to Oseikrom. Pictures of her which surfaced on social media, again stunned many at the funeral grounds.
Some pictures seen by The Herald, portrayed a lady, who is captivating everybody with her beauty and good sense of fashion as she shook hands with dignitaries, while dressed in a her black funeral attire.
The latest was last Monday’s 60th Independence Day celebration at the Black Star Square.
Samira who walked side by side with her husband, smartly dressed in a light ash outfit laced with Ghana’s cherished cloth Kente, instantly, became a role model to some young women and the men too.
Most of the men said, she was the woman they want to see in their wives, because she does not expose her body, but always covered, yet attracts and gets all the attention.
Unfortunately, some Muslims are not happy, because she does not occasionally wear her veil as prescribed by her religion.
They accused her of shunning her veil as a married Muslim woman. The attack on her has largely been on social media.
They argued that during the campaign, she wore the veil wherever she went, but after becoming the Second Lady, she has refused to be recognized as a married Muslim woman.
In the heat of the 2016 campaign, Samira is on record to have played a key role to ensure a New Patriotic Party (NPP) victory.
At the least opportunity, Samira bashed the Mahama-led government and was hailed by the party.
She became so comfortable in the “men only” game that at every rally and programme held, she was made one of the main speakers.
It is, therefore not surprising that she is making her presence felt, even though she does not get the chance to speak often.
She was made host of Joy FM’s morning programme, Super Morning show on Wednesday to mark International Women’s Day.
According to many who listened, they praised the youngest second lady and jokingly recommended that she take up a radio programme job.
She hosted the Electoral Commission chairperson, Charlotte Osei, Madam Joyce Ayee and former Finance Minister, Mona Quartey.
Samira, started her early education at the Answarudeen Islamic School at Fadama in Accra, before continuing to the Akosombo International School (AIS) and then to Mfantsiman Secondary School at Saltpond in the Central Region.
At the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), she read BA Social Science in Law and Sociology and Technology.
At the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Relations (GIMPA), where she completed with Mrs Lordina Mahama, wife of former president John Mahama, she was adjudged, the Best Student in Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Samira, who is a Fulani, is reported to speak Ewe, Twi, Ga, Mamprusi, Fanti and English. She has a human touch and easily blends with her peers, as well as her environment.

3 students stabbed following Vandals, Conti, ATL clashes at UCC
Vandal Clash2
One of the victims of the clash
At least three students were stabbed Friday at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) following a clash between some students of the University of Ghana and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
A UCC student who was returning from night studies is reportedly paralysed as a result of several stabs he received from his attackers.
An eye witness narrated that some residents of Commonwealth Hall and Unity Hall who had been invited for a programme at Oguaa Hall ended up attacking one another after a misunderstanding.
Although, he does not know the true cause of the misunderstanding, the witness said the incident became intense after some residents of ATL hall also joined the skirmishes.
Several properties worth thousands of cedis belonging to Oguaa hall have been destroyed, the eye witness said.
The hall's bus and vehicles belonging to some lecturers were all vandalised.
Meanwhile, a contingent of police and military personnel have been dispatched to the campus to stop any possible reprisal and to maintain peace.
Ghana on Friday launched a Nation exist on the production, distribution sale, advertisement and consumption of the commodity.
The 33-page document would now set out a policy direction aimed at regulating the production, distribution sale, advertisement and consumption of alcohol, with the aim of minimising the negative impact of its consumption on the individual, family and society as a whole. It was also to encourage and promote abstinence, reduce harmful alcohol consumption, follow global best practice, and inspire government to leader in ensuring total compliance.
The Policy identifies major propriety areas for the reduction of alcohol related harms, and takes cognisance of data and information available from the World Health Organisation (WHO), and recognises best buy areas in reducing associated harm such as increased taxation, regulating availability and marketing and drink driving counter measure.
Other areas of focus include prevention and management of health effects and social services actions; surveillance, research, monitoring and evaluation; drink driving measures and capacity building, and also using locally designed cultural and social interventions in reducing these alcohol related harms.
The Policy was launched in Accra by Ministry of Health (MOH) in collaboration with the WHO and the Baraka Policy Institute (BPI), a Think Tank established to promote social justice and national development.
Dr Kweku Agyeman-Manu, the Minister of Health in an address, acknowledged all the stakeholders involved in the development of the Policy.
He said the harmful use of alcohol had been a cause for great concern globally and nationally, saying, presently the informal sector which produces alcoholic beverages with high percentages of ethyl alcohol was highly unregulated. He said although several health disorders had been ascribed to the harmful use of alcohol, productivity losses was yet to be estimated for Ghana, but it was known that its abuse was of huge concern to a number of organisations including the health sector. He cited some of the negative health effects as neuropsychiatric complications (mental health problems), liver and heart ailments, and diabetes, adding that the trend of non-communicable diseases, many of which had the commodity as the risk factor, was also on the increase.
Dr Agyeman-Manu said alcohol abuse had serious socio-economic effects, especially on families and communities, and its consumption was even worse in the unborn child, children and adolescents, “yet the seriousness of this issue does not seem to register with the public, thus not much has been done to regulate the sector”. The Health Minister said alcohol use though had been part of the Ghanaian culture and society, the current trend of consumption, and the inadequate regulation especially on its advertisements in both the print and the electronic media, was a source of worry.
He admitted that currently there were many policy issues and regulations on various aspects of alcohol including production and sale scattered in several legislations, and there was the need to pull all these and other policies into a single document, and also form a central coordinating body to ensure its implementation and enforcement. Dr Akwesi Osei, the Chief Executive Officer of the Mental Health Authority, in an overview of the Policy, said alcohol consumption accounted for about 3.3 million (5.9 Per cent) deaths globally in 2012, most of them being males.
He said it was estimated that 23.3 per cent of Ghanaians take alcohol, and of these a projected 2.1 per cent were found to be engaging in heavy drinking. He said the Per capita consumption of alcohol among heavy drinkers stood at 20 litres in a year, which reinforces the need for special strategies to tackle production, sale and consumption of locally brewed alcohol in addition to strategies for the formal industry.
Both the WHO and the BPI pledged their full support to the immediate push for the development of a Legislative Instrument to make the Policy more biting, and also the establishment of an independent body such as the Ghana National Alcohol Commission to oversee the implementation of the relevant plans developed to achieve the strategies contained in the document in order to achieve the set objectives

Lifestyle: Warm chocolate avocado smoothie to try this weekend
Warm Chocolate Avocado Smoothie
When the cold weather sets in I naturally turn to warmer food and drink such as soup, stew, broth, and tea. A cold smoothie is just not appealing.
I typically consume elixirs in the winter. However, warm smoothies have become more of a mainstay.
Warm smoothies are really easy to make. Simply warm the liquid a recipe calls for to just under a simmer. Then proceed with making your smoothie as normal. One caveat, you may want to avoid frozen ingredients.
The picture of this smoothie doesn’t convey its warmth. It’s not hot to the touch like a cup of tea or coffee. It’s just warm enough to be comforting on a cold day.
I blended some cacao nibs for the crunch factor and added some as garnish for appearance. Crunchy or chunky smoothies are a good thing as they force you to chew your smoothie, which improves digestion.
This is a pretty basic recipe. Feel free to use any of the optional add-ons or anything else you have on hand. Enjoy! Warm Chocolate Avocado Smoothie Recipe

Okyeame Kwame's son raps better than Sarkodie - Afia Schwarzenegger
Afia Coldbeer play video
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Controversial TV presenter, Afia Schwarzenegger has fired a sarcastic shade at Sarkodie as not being a match enough for Okyeame Kwame's son.
She made the said remark earlier today on the Angetainment News on Angel TV.
She was disturbed at the seemingly unnecessary comparison of the kid rapper to DBlack, who in her opinion isn't worth the comparison.
According to Afia, Okyeame's son has already retired Dblack, hence should be matched boot-for-boot with Sarkodie instead.
She argues that given his early start, he will make a better cut than the older folks.
"Why will people compare this boy to DBlack? Meanwhile he raps better than Sarkodie. At this tender age, could Sarkodie have rapped as good as this?" she fumed.
Several Ghanaian rappers have suffered public scorn of being below the standard of Okyeame's son whose "Saucing" music video made the trends recently
Lifestyle Men get preoccupied. Don’t confuse that with a loss of passion for the relationship he shares with you.
Has this ever happened to you?
You meet someone attractive and engaging. The spark of interest leads quickly to romantic attraction and mutual desire.
There is a special connection the just feels right. It’s like you’re on the same wavelength. Then, he begins to withdraw.
He seems to be pulling away. He’s preoccupied and seems to have no desire to share his inner thoughts with you the way he did before. During conversation, his responses reflect less attention to what you are saying. At the worst moments it can even seem as if you are alone while in his presence.
Why does this happen? Why do men so often seem to pull away after initially demonstrating the ability to connect with you in a genuine way?
This happens because men are wired differently when it comes to motivation. He is genetically designed to narrowly focus his attention on the most important “mission” at hand.
That doesn’t mean he stopped loving you. It means some other “mission” has temporarily distracted him. But here’s where things get messy.
Because he seems to be pulling away, your instincts tell you something is wrong.
This naturally causes you to feel a bit insecure. It also brings up negative emotions that could lead you to be short with him and possibly even passive-aggressive.
Your emotional state is reflecting the underlying question, “Why are you doing this to me?”
Meanwhile, his emotional state carries this command: “Reduce distractions and focus on taking care of the problem that has come up.” And the key here is this. The “problem that has come up” most likely has nothing to do with you.
Both genetics and environment have reinforced a tendency for men to be mission-minded. When a man’s mission is going well, he feels playful energy. During these times he will be emotionally engaged and genuinely interested in even the small details of your life.
The problem comes when he faces unusual difficulties that threaten the progress of one of his “missions” in life.
Unlike women, men are less likely to consider a relationship as a mission. Relationships are the fun things you do when you’re not working on your mission.
So when storms arise at work, in his business, or in other goals he is pursuing, he will become very distracted. You may even get the feeling he is only spending time with you because he feels obligated to.
You may be a top priority in his life, but it won’t feel that way when he gets preoccupied with one of his missions. This is a common root cause of painful experiences for women who invest their lives in men.

Lifestyle:I am yet to meet the man who has no problems yet. It would be such an honor to encounter anyone on the surface of this Earth who has nothing on their mind that bothers them.
A son wants to please his father with his grades while his father wants to please his boss at work.
His boss wants to please his employer when his employer is also doing everything possible to please his wife. Mind you, his wife is also trying to please her children who in turn need to please their father.
Every head has a headache!
In this life of competition, worry may never be a thing of the past. Inasmuch as we all want to be better people, our lives won’t ever be far from problems. Each day has its own headaches it comes along with.
Utilities are not getting any cheaper while our salaries are not getting any bigger. Our competitors are getting stronger when our clients are not growing any bigger. Life is one hell of a problem galore!
This irony called life. Some good men marry bad spouses while some good women never find good men, no matter how hard they try. Those we trust disappoint us and those who are supposed to trust us, at least, don’t even give a hoot about us. Good spouses are ditched and good businesses run into irreparable losses.
Every head has a headache!
Every person walking the length and breadth of this Earth has a problem sitting on their mind. We all are wearing masks that make it seem all is well. Our make-ups cover our weary faces…but only for a moment. Our masks hide the thorns we are walking on… but only temporarily. The question is… if no head is without a headache, why should suicide be an option for others?
Life is like attending school. You always think your friends’ schools are the best until they open up! In this life, you think your problems are the weightiest until another gives you just a gist of what is sitting on their head. You always think you have tasted life’s bitterest potions until you ask another how life has treated them, too. Nowhere cool!
Those you wish to be like somewhat wish to be like you, too. You wish to have had their money but they wish to have had your wealth of a health. You wish to have had their luxurious house but they wish to have had your peaceful home. You wish to have had a husband like theirs but they wish you knew what you were wishing for!
Listen, my dear. Quitting life is not the solution to your challenges. Taking away your life is cowardice… not the answer to your problems. Life is like boxing. The best boxers are those who fight to the end… not those who throw in the towel too soon. Face your fears. Be anxious for nothing!
Suicide doesn’t end our problems. It starts them. Suicide is a baton of pain. You only hand over the depression to your loved ones and family. You only transfer the broken-heartedness to your frail family.
You see, suicide is like lying. You think it ends the problem but actually, it worsens it. The shame. The disgrace. The debt of a funeral. The trauma you leave behind. The trails of fear those around you inherit. Suicide seems like a shortcut out of life but, in the end, it turns out to be the longest journey of a memory our friends and loved ones would need to travel.
Suicide is like a wave. It has rippling effects on those around the victim. Your family needlessly suffers for what they had no hand in. Don’t take your life. It doesn’t belong to you. It belongs to God. You belong to your family and loved ones. No problem is weighty enough to make you ever want to willfully walk down the grave. Your life is too precious to be wasted with suicide.
What happens to us is not as important as how we react to them. Almost every government owes yet doesn’t think suicide so why should you? You are not the first to be brokenhearted and you won’t be the last either.
You are not the first to fail in an exam and, trust me, there are several others who will fail after you. So… why do you think you deserve suicide more than anyone else?
We all have bad moments. We don’t win every time. We all have had a taste of bad experience. However, it’s not about how bad the experience is… but how bad your reaction may be. You can be a slave of your experience… or a master of it.
You decide. Your pain today can be humanity’s gain tomorrow. Take advantage of your experience instead of taking away your life. Overcome your bad experience and help others get out of theirs. Instead of being a slave of your past, be a master of your future.
Your hell of a headache is another’s heaven of a blessing. Your penury is another’s luxury. Be grateful to God!
You are not useless. Your life is not worthless. If you think your life is, give it away to volunteerism instead of giving it away to the grave. Suicide is a dead end… not an escape route to life’s problems. Suicide is like a mirage. You think life is, at least, better at the other end… until you get there.
No matter how painful your headache is, tell God. Pray about it. When we tell God about our problems, it’s called prayers. When we tell men about it, it’s called worry. Pray. Don’t worry.
No head is without a headache. Even God has the headache of controlling stubborn creatures like us. Haha. Cheer up. Nowhere cool.
